I know that I’ve been MIA for years now, and I sincerely apologize. Hopefully I can make it up to you. đŸ™‚ I will be adding some new content on here soon, and I hope you all enjoy it! I will try my absolute best to be consistent (I’m a work in progress y’all, bear with me please)  I would also appreciate your feedback, greatly!
P.S. This is a post I wrote last year around this same time, but it’s still very valid so I decided to post it.
For the past few months while I’ve been in school, these three words have been in my spirit. I just ended my junior year, and I must confess that it was the most challenging year for me. I was challenged emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. This was the most I had ever been spiritually challenged, and I was not prepared. There were nights were doubt settled in, too many breakdowns to count, no motivation to put in work, I was in what I’ll call a “sunken place” (Get Out reference)
I had never felt so disconnected from God in my entire life. It was HORRIBLE. Imagine being cut off from your lifeline, and not knowing how to reconnect. . . Eww. Cutting this lengthy story short, I had to start from somewhere and find my way back to Abba. This bible verse helped:
1 Peter 5:10
“And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you.”
During this trying period, while pondering on those three words: “Joy” “Happiness” & “Peace,” — a few questions came to mind. I decided to share them with you all, to see what your response/thoughts/views to these questions would be. I think it’s really fascinating that there could be several different responses to a “simple” question. Making that simple question, not so simple! So, here goes:
– What is your source of JOY?
– What do you derive the most JOYÂ from?
– What makes you HAPPY?
– Does someone else, other than yourself control your HAPPINESS?
– What is your definition of PEACE?
– How do you experience PEACE?
– Is there a difference between JOY and HAPPINESS? If there is, what is the difference?
– Do you experience — JOY, HAPPINESS, and PEACE, — all the time or once in a while? Why?
Although they may seem like rhetorical questions, but if we take the time to ponder on these questions, and do some internal analysis, we may discover an unexpected TRUTH.
God bless you,
xoxo, LuchiiBae
